ECU-herprogrammering met Polini SmartMap
Polini Motori presenteert de Polini SmartMap, het nieuwe elektronische apparaat dat is ontworpen om de originele ECU op een veilige, omkeerbare en volledig autonome manier te herprogrammeren.

De Polini SmartMap is een draagbaar apparaat dat tijdelijk wordt aangesloten op de diagnosesocket van de motorfiets. Via een speciale, eenvoudige en intuïtieve app kan het systeem de originele mapping van de ECU uitlezen, opslaan en tot 4 aangepaste Polini-mappings rechtstreeks in de originele ECU schrijven.

Zodra de herprogrammering is voltooid, wordt de Polini SmartMap losgekoppeld: het apparaat blijft niet in het voertuig geïnstalleerd en er is geen permanente verbinding nodig. De motorfiets of scooter werkt vervolgens met de nieuwe mapping die permanent in de ECU is opgeslagen, zonder extra componenten, bedrading of externe modules.

Polini mappings, diagnose en cloudverbinding
De 4 beschikbare mappings zijn ontwikkeld en gevalideerd door Polini-engineers. Ze zijn ontworpen om de beste motorprestaties te garanderen op basis van de gemonteerde componenten, met behoud van hoge normen op het gebied van betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid. De originele mapping blijft altijd opgeslagen en kan op elk moment worden hersteld, waardoor de ECU weer in de standaardstaat wordt teruggebracht.

Naast herprogrammering beschikt de Polini SmartMap over geavanceerde diagnosefuncties, waarmee de belangrijkste parameters van de ECU kunnen worden uitgelezen en eventuele foutcodes kunnen worden gewist. Alle handelingen worden direct op de originele ECU uitgevoerd, zonder permanente hardware-aanpassingen.

Dankzij de cloudverbinding en directe ondersteuning van Polini kunnen mappings snel worden verzonden, bijgewerkt en beheerd, zodat het systeem zich in de loop van de tijd kan aanpassen aan nieuwe voertuigconfiguraties of toekomstige technische ontwikkelingen.

Ontwerp, gebruik en specifieke bekabeling
Compact, robuust en gebruiksvriendelijk: de Polini SmartMap is uitgerust met duidelijke LED-indicatoren die de gebruiker begeleiden tijdens het uitlezen en schrijven van de ECU, waardoor het proces eenvoudig en gecontroleerd verloopt.

Er is specifieke bekabeling beschikbaar om de Polini SmartMap aan te sluiten op de diagnosesocket van het voertuig, afgestemd op elk type en model scooter.

De kabelsets zijn ontworpen om een correcte, veilige en conforme aansluiting op het originele systeem te garanderen, zonder onjuiste aanpassingen of verbindingen.

Momenteel zijn Polini mappings beschikbaar voor twee scootermodellen; andere toepassingen zijn in ontwikkeling en zullen binnenkort beschikbaar zijn voor meerdere modellen.

De bekabeling kan afzonderlijk worden aangeschaft en is herkenbaar aan specifieke productreferenties, zodat een nauwkeurige keuze per voertuig mogelijk is.

Remapping the ECU case with Polini SmartMap

Polini Motori presents Polini SmartMap, the new electronic device designed to replace the original scooter case in a safe, reversible and completely autonomous way.

Polini SmartMap is a portable device that temporarily connects to the diagnostic socket of the motorcycle. Through a dedicated, simple and intuitive app, the system allows to read the original mapping of the ECU box, save it and write up to 4 custom Polini mappings directly in the original box.

Once the remapping is completed, Polini SmartMap disconnects: the device does not remain installed in the vehicle and no permanent connection is required. The motorcycle or scooter will operate with the new mapping saved permanently in the case, without additional components, wiring or external modules.

Polini mapping, diagnostics and cloud connection

The 4 available mappings have been developed and validated by Polini engineers and they have been studied to ensure the best engine performance according to the assembled components, while maintaining high standards of reliability and safety. The original mapping always remains stored and can be restored at any time, bringing the case back to the serial state.

In addition to the remapping, Polini SmartMap integrates advanced diagnostic functions, allowing to read the main parameters of the box and erase any error. All operations are performed directly on the original case, without any permanent hardware modification.

Thanks to the cloud connection and direct Polini support, mappings are sent, updated and managed quickly, allowing the system to adapt in time to each new vehicle configuration or future technical development.

Design, use and dedicated cabling

Compact, resistant and intuitive, Polini SmartMap is equipped with clear LED indicators, which guide the user during the reading and writing phases of the case, making the operation simple and controlled.

Dedicated cabling is available for the connection of the Polini SmartMap to the vehicle diagnostic socket, specific for each type and model of scooter.

The wirings are designed to ensure a correct, safe and compliant connection to the original system, avoiding any improper adaptation or connection.

Currently the Polini mappings are available for two scooter models; other applications are being developed and will be available soon for other models.

The wiring can be purchased separately and identified by dedicated product references, so as to allow an accurate choice according to the vehicle.
